April showers bring May flowers, or so they say. Here in Texas, it’s Bluebonnet time! If you’re from here you totally get it. If not, let me fill you in. It has become a tradition to find the largest sea of bluebonnets and take pictures. The rolling hills of blue provide a gorgeous and colorful backdrop. Tons of people stop on the side of the highways to get the best pics. There are Facebook pages, Instagram accounts, and websites dedicated to finding the best place to capture these photos. As a true Texas girl, I had to keep this tradition alive and take some pics.
I chose a bright pink blouse because pink is my favorite color for spring. It seems I am also in an oversized accessories phase right now and love statement necklaces, earrings, and rings. I found this beauty for only $14.99 and can always appreciate a bargain. As I have mentioned before, I am more of a classic style person so trendy has to be extremely fabulous or extremely affordable to catch my eye. This necklace was both and not to mention it has quite a few of the 2016 Pantone top ten colors. I combined these with a simple boyfriend jean and colored flats for a weekend mom look.
