My beautiful cousin got married this weekend and it was really great to see everyone and celebrate a new member of the Q family. Not to mention – dancing the night away was a great workout. Wedding guest attire is sometimes tricky because of course you want to look fabulous but not upstage the bride. My advice is to pick something weather appropriate and make sure it looks great next to white.
I went with a sleeveless look because while the fall fashion trends are playing out nicely in rest of the country we are still in the mid 90’s. The solid color clutch is a great staple and happened to match the flowers perfectly on my dress – totally not planned when I purchased both separately. I paired a nude sandal to offset the busy print and the bright color of the clutch- this is always a safe shoe with a heavy printed outfit.
Remember the basics of wedding guest attire: dress according to what the invite lists and the time of day(black tie, formal, Sunday best, Beach, ect.), NEVER wear white, and make sure you have something on you want to be photographed in from many angles. When in doubt, I wear a season appropriate LBD.
